We’ve all felt like the Ugly Duckling at some point in our lives. We look around at everyone else, and we conclude that we’re worthless. Absolutely worthless.
But God didn’t create you or me, to feel like that. He didn’t create you and me to be the Ugly Duckling. No. He has a much better plan for our lives than that.
Much better.
We all want to know our destiny don’t we? We all want to know what we were put on this earth for; what God made us to do; what God has in store for us.
We’d love to be living a powerful, exciting life in His service, but …
Every now and then, you meet a giant in your life. I’m talking a good giant here, not a bad one. The sort that Isaac Newton spoke of when he said:

Are you ready?
Okay – here’s the thing. I need your input for my next blog post. It’s all about how attached we really are to our money and wealth.
To help me prepare, I’m putting this “Honest Answers Quick Poll” in the field and I would like you to respond. It will only take you half a minute.
And the way my polling software works, I have absolutely no way of finding out who responded and how. So it’s totally confidential.
Almost everyone on this planet at some point in their lives has money worries. My hunch is that you’re no exception. Perhaps you’re travelling through a bit of a rough financial patch at the moment.
The tragedy is that when we’re in that place, we think that the answer, is simply to get more money. It makes sense. It’s logical. Ask anybody and they’ll tell you that it’s the right answer.
Anybody that is, except God.
They say that marriage is about ’50/50′ – this idea of give and take. You get your bit and I get my bit. Give and take. We have to compromise along the way. It sounds entirely reasonable. The problem is, it just doesn’t work. Here’s why:
